All of these things (and possibly more) bring to mind a certain vibe. This vibe can be helped or hindered by music. Needing to feel motivated? Want to feel inspired? Just that extra edge – that little bit to push you deeper into the groove, to get in the Zone, to push you on… Music can and will do all these things and more.

Below you will find our Spotify playlist that we play during each of our Tai Chi (or Taijiquan) classes.

.If this is not your first time here, you may notice that the selection is different from your last visit. That’s because it’s a living piece of change. Evolving to meet the needs of the martial arts student.

But sometimes I mess up. And accidentally add a song that should be in our And those that I, personally, “liked,” but were not appropriate for the class. For example, songs with positive and uplifting music that was also slow and soothing would serve much better in our Northern Shaolin Kung Fu class playlist, instead of our Tai Chi class playlist. Or perhaps, due to my own personal spiritual practice, I add something abit too deep down the rabbit hole of one tradition or another. And I get feedback. 😛 🙂 So then I adjust.
