So you want to learn a bit more about PATHS Atlanta Kung Fu. Well, there’s a lot to learn. Here’s an introductory bit to get your brain-juices going: It’s actually P.A.T.H.S., meaning it’s an acronym.
During the initial conversations of this enterprise, we decided on this translation:
P = Physical
A = Arts
T = Traditional
H = Healing
S = Systems
…Wow…Dig in and dive in where ya feel.
PATHS Atlanta Kung Fu is a grassroots Kung fu or TCMA or Traditional Chinese Martial Arts school offering classes in Northern ShaolinKung Fu to Teens and Adults, ages 15+. Sorry young bucks, or old warriors. This isn’t meant to exclude; if you’re out of that range and yet think you’ve got what it takes, hit us up and explain. We like to treat each student on an individual basis.
In the past, we had more offerings, like Tai Chi, Choy Li Fut, Da Bei Quan, Baguazhang, Xingyiquan, and others, but the interest just wasn’t there. And then, of course, there’s COVID-19. Thanks to that whole 2020 bit, we had to stop accepting new students.
However, the Good News is that we’re back on track; just use common sense when it comes to sickness.
Current State of PATHS Atlanta
However, now that you’re here, you might still be planning for your future. And in that case, here are a few options for learning more about us.
Sifu Kiessling now offers the Northern Shaolin Kung Fu program. However, once things get back on track, there may be more to PATHS Atlanta Kung Fu than there is today. Currently, we teach outdoors, and every class is two hours long.
